WHAT IS UNSUBSCRIBE? 

When a church intentionally designs its small group studies to directly complement and reinforce the weekly sermons preached by the pastor.

Instead of small groups choosing their own independent study topics, their discussions and materials are based on the themes, scripture passages, and key points of the Sunday message.

Yes, if you have 2 or more friends, co-workers, or neighbors, you have a small group. Invite them over, have some snacks, download the “Unsubscribe” videos, and you're off. You’ve started a Small Group.

You can attend one of the Host Briefings held after services on each of the Sundays leading up to the Unsubscribe Launch. The Host Briefings dates are July 27, August 3rd, August 10, August 17 & August 24.

The “Unsubscribe” Sermon Series starts on August 24 and lasts for 6 weeks, through 09/28.

Your group will meet once a week on the day and time of your choosing.

On average, groups meet 1.5 hours

Your group will meet in your home, coffee shop, or other venue you feel comfortable with.

No, the “Unsubscribe” series comes with the curriculum and downloadable videos for each week. All your group materials will be provided to you in the “Unsubscribe” Kit.

1.  Keep the discussion moving in a positive direction.
   
2. Contact your Coach or Coordinator if you need extra support
   
3. Take weekly attendance and prayer requests.
   

Your Small Groups Coach or Coordinator will set up your groups on Planning Center so you can record attendance. You can also use the attendance sheets to manually record group attendance. After your Small Group meeting, you can record your attendance in Planning Center. Please record your attendance within 2 days of your meeting. You will receive an email reminder from your Small Groups Coach or Coordinator. Instructions will be available in your hosting kit.

Only existing Groups will be visible on the church website. Those Group Leaders have completed the Growth Track, had a background check, and have completed the Group Leader Training. However, after the “Unsubscribe” sermon series, there are options to become an official Faith Church Group Leader, which will provide access to a variety of trainings, resources, and website visibility.

Each Unsubscribe group host will be assigned a Small Group Coach or Small Group Coordinator to assist with any questions or concerns.

After the Sermon Series, you can continue your group by becoming a Small Group Leader or you can transition to another group.
